[spacer height=”20px”]Big Bowl of Ideas is proud to be working with accomplished journalist, author, speaker and talk show host, Tavis Smiley. Tavis recently signed a multi-year deal with Warner Brothers Studios to develop original television programs and films based off of books he wrote, including My Journey with Maya, a memoir about the author’s decades long friendship with renowned poet Maya Angelou, and Before You Judge Me: The Triumph and Tragedy of Michael Jackson’s Last Days, the story of pop legend Michael Jackson’s final 16 weeks.

We were tasked with a series of creative services for Tavis, the first of which was the branding for his new production company (video above). We’ve honed our process to get right to a client’s values and turn those into a dynamic look, feel and message. Tavis liked our work so much that he’s now using the logo, accompanied by music from Grammy-winning jazz artist Marcus Miller, to close out his show on PBS. We’re excited to be working with a person who is so well noted in news and entertainment and who is clearly going to champion and be a leader for diversity in the entertainment industry.
